As a Side Note: ( Points of clarification below added by Ken thomas - President of the Littlestown Are Historical Society. - 2007)

The first school in the Littlestown Area was actually started before 1747. That it started before 1747 can be verified in the the "History of Christ Reformed Church near Littlestown. The exact date is not clear. This information is incorrect in the Littlestown Bicentennial Book.

The trolley did not go to the train station. The trolley actually ran up East King street to the square. The wooden ties from this trolley were removed from under the street in the summer of 2006. The trolley actuall ran from Littlestown to McSherrytown and then into Hanover.
