Weikert's Bakery
21 West King Street

This House and buildings sits on one of the first lots sold in the 1760s. It was numbered lot number 4 on Peter Klein's lot lay out. Charles M. Weikert purchased the bakery from August (Gus) Smith in 1926 and the weikert family ran the bakery from 1926 until 1996. The Bakery occupied the building behind on the left and the store front was where the baked goods were sold. It closed as a bakery for good during the late 1990s. The buildings are now owned by Barry Warehime and his wife.
