Message to Homeowners and Businesses:

Avoid problems or liability issues by knowing that your waste materials are properly disposed of or recycled. Make sure the hauler you engage, or contract with is licensed with the Adams County Department of Environmental Services.

Waste materials are items that are discarded or recycled. This may include, but is not limited to: household trash, leftover construction materials, metals, items from attic/garage clean-outs, septage, roofing debris, etc.

Haulers are anyone collecting, transporting or disposing of any type of waste materials. Haulers can include: recyclers, building contractors, septic haulers, trash haulers, junk haulers and medical waste transporters.
